PlaySlot — A Product of Cloudnex
About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how PlaySlot, a product and trade name of Cloudnex, uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies when you visit or use the PlaySlot website and Phase 1 Platform.
Cloudnex is a sole proprietorship business based in Kerala, India. This Policy should be read together with the PlaySlot Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website may store in your browser. Websites may also use browser storage and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember necessary settings, improve security and provide functionality.
What PlaySlot uses in Phase 1
PlaySlot uses these technologies primarily for essential authentication and Platform functionality in Phase 1. Based on the current implementation, PlaySlot does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies.
The Platform uses an HTTP-only authentication cookie and browser local storage. Google services and Razorpay may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their functionality is used.
Essential authentication cookie
The PlaySlot application uses an essential HTTP-only authentication cookie named refreshToken. It maintains the Venue Partner's authenticated session and allows the Platform to obtain a new access token when required.
The refreshToken cookie may remain valid for up to 365 days, subject to the account or session state and Platform authentication controls. It is cleared when the user logs out. Because it is necessary for authentication and secure operation, it is an essential technology.
Browser local storage and access tokens
The current Phase 1 dashboard uses browser local storage for certain authentication and session information. The access JWT has a 30-day expiry and is not stored as a 30-day cookie.
Blocking or clearing browser storage may prevent authenticated Platform functions from working normally and may require you to authenticate again.
Why we use essential technologies
Essential cookies and browser storage authenticate Venue Partners and authorised staff, maintain secure sessions and account access, protect against unauthorised access, maintain necessary security information, and provide core Platform functionality.
These technologies are not used in Phase 1 to create advertising profiles or to track users for targeted advertising.
Third-party cookies and technologies
Some PlaySlot functionality depends on third-party services. Those providers may use their own cookies, local storage or similar technologies; PlaySlot does not control their exact names, lifetimes or purposes.
Google: PlaySlot uses Google services for Maps, Places, location-related functionality and Gmail-based email infrastructure. Google-operated services may use technologies under Google's own policies.
Razorpay: When you interact with Razorpay checkout or payment interfaces, Razorpay may use technologies for payment, security, fraud prevention and functionality under its own policies.
Meta / WhatsApp: PlaySlot uses Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform/API for service-related communications. Meta may process message and technical information under its own policies.
Amazon Web Services: AWS hosting and storage may involve technical identifiers and logging mechanisms necessary for secure service operation.
Analytics and advertising
PlaySlot does not currently use third-party analytics platforms, advertising pixels or advertising cookies in Phase 1. We do not use website cookies for behavioural advertising, retargeting or advertising profiles.
If non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are introduced later, this Policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before or when they are introduced.
Cookie controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies, restrict third-party cookies, and clear local storage and other site data. Browser controls vary by browser and device.
Because Phase 1 technologies are primarily essential, disabling or clearing them may sign you out or prevent parts of the Platform from working correctly. Blocking third-party cookies may affect Google, Razorpay or other third-party functionality.
Do Not Track and browser signals
PlaySlot does not currently use advertising or behavioural tracking systems in Phase 1 that respond to Do Not Track signals. We will review applicable browser signals and legal requirements if future functionality introduces non-essential tracking.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy when the Platform, technologies, third-party integrations or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will display a revised Last Updated date.
